First off i realize there is a seperate board for this subject but how often do people pay attention to the other boards.
Anyway I want to level the ride height of the rear to the front. I'm wondering what you guys would suggest. Just looking for about 2" drop or so in the rear.. Its a '04 QC 2wd. Should I use blocks, hangers, shackles.......?

A LONG TIME AGO, I had a Chevy LUV Truck. It was actually made by Mitsubishi.

Anyways, I dropped it by de-cranking the torsion bars and putting blocks, that I had mad in the rear between the leafs and axle.

So, my answer would be blocks on the rear to level it. I made mine by cutting a piece of box iron, fairly thick walled. Worked fine until I traded it on my Mazda B2200. A LONG time ago.
(Which was eventually traded, after 12 years, on my present 01 QC, that I ordered)

the smart ass answer would be:
-let some air out of the rear tires.
-get lower profile rear tires.
-Put some of those spring expanders on the
front springs

01 SLT QC, two tone paint,
OEM fender flares
Cab high Leer cap w/ double slider window,
Infinity sound,
Tire and handling pack,
R/T sway bars
Trailer towing pack,
3.92 LSD rear end, 2WD
Ransho RSX shocks

4.7 manual,
HO cams,
HO intake,
Ported the stock 68mm TB,
Homebrew 'true' CAI, w/ K&N
No belt driven clutch or cooling fan
No third cat.
SuperChips Tuner

Max dyno, NO short belts, etc.
227 RW HP
300 RW TQ

Drive it like its paid for!

Thanks Todd, I think I will go with blocks. From what i've read, it's a SOB to remove the leafspring hangers and shackles.
I think i've read the answer to this alredy but let me ask it myself. If i do drop it 2", should i worry about getting new shocks also? And is there anything else i'm missing?
