i recently purchased an 1988 dakota 4x4 long bed and was wondering how to raise the front end about 2-3''.the front end is a little low, and i would like to get the hight even. the back is fine .any help would be great.

I'm not sure about the Gen I's, but on Gen II and III 4x4's you can crank up the preload on the torsion bars... it's as easy as putting a few turns on a pair of bolts..
