I tought that I had to add somethig even though it is nothing. I do not know why you would argue or debate something that no one here does. does anyone here actually fly a 747 or larger craft? I would seriously doubt it. If you do fly I would like to know how you got your licsence, other that military service. Just curious.

I got my license and ratings like many do, one at a time and lots of money.

I have no idea why STS can not keep his trash in the off topic board.

The principles that apply to flying a Cessna 152 or a B747 are the same. It seems that these guys are mostly wannabes and have never had so much as a single lesson. That is really sad since it is possible to learn how to fly with nothing but some good books and a flight simulator.

It's not much different than people taking about sports even though some of the people have never participated in them. Those that have actually played at least minor league baseball may know a bit more abot the game. That's the best analogy I can give you.

In theory the principles are the same Larry Johnny! But it's differnt from flying a 400 ton Boeing jet that capable of Mack 1 speed aand crusing over 40,000 FT and then you got another plane like the Cessna 152 that could be used for Bush flying.

Of course any jet with a swept back wing fly's almost the same. To land the plane one the runway you simply throttle back with the usual landing procedures.


So how's the weather out there in Anoka, MN?

Try posting something that the entire world doesn't already know. If you had said that a 150 is different than flying a 152 a lot of people would wonder why. Of course you would then know why a 150 is better as a bush plane.
