Is there an online site which will give you all specs for Dakota models ? Things like wheelbase, curb weight, amount of oil in different engines and trans etc. Also which parts are swappable between which models, for instance is a rear axle from a '01 Durango interchangeable with the same year Dak ?
You know, information you could actually use. Thanks to anyone who can help. And yes I know car-part.com will sometimes give you interchangeable parts, but sometimes they are wrong, and often they leave out combinations that will work easily

edmunds.com will give you specs like curb weight, etc but nothing in a single list. you have to pick and choose the models to drill down into details.

5.09 front track width 2wd
5.19 rear track width 2wd (front and rear track width of a 4wd)
An '01 Durango has a 5.15 track width

ryan p - you haven't provided enough info for anyone to tell your gear ratio for sure; but you can probably find it on a tag in the glove box. Also usually a tag on the rear.
