Clean up 'ground' = chassis connections
and tighten them securely .
Do all of these under the hood first , if still
a problem , you may have to do the ones under the dash as well.

What you have is known as alternator whine. There are any number of reasons and causes for it. What is in the truck now? Is it just a radio and speakers or are there amplifiers and/or processors installed too?

If there are amplifiers be sure to run the power wires down one side of the truck and the RCA input cables down the other. Keep RCA's away from electronic modules, wire harnesses and other components that can radiate noise into the system. Be sure to ground all the components at the same point to eliminate ground loops. Make sure to have a good clean connection at the positive and negative batter terminals and at their connections on the block, frame, Power Distribution Center and the starter. Make sure the battery and alternator are within specs. Should have 14.5 volts across the battery terminals with the engine running at idle. Should have at least 12.5 volts on the battery with the engine off. Be sure to use noise suppression core plug wires and good quality plugs, cap and rotor.

If all else fails there are inline noise filters you can get at car audio stores, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. They go on the RCA cables or the power wire for the radio. Filtering should be the last resort to eliminate noise, though. Find the root cause of the noise and correct it to eliminate the noise.

If the system has been installed for a long time and the noise started just all of a sudden, it could be a defective radio or amp. A good car electronics repair technician can tell you for sure.

One more thing that can cause your problem is a bad/going bad alt. Some times if the bearings are going bad they can actually cause interferance as well.
Just some thing else to consider.
Good Luck
