I'm thinking about getting a brush guard for my 02 QC 4x4. From what I can see from the pictures, it looks like they mount to the frame rails. Is this correct? Do the brush guards fit INSIDE the frame rails with screws bolted up through the frame rail?

the reason I'm asking is that I have custom tow-hooks welded inside my frame rails. Basically I have a square tube welded to the frame rails that extends out from the frame rail and has the tow hook bolted to the tubular extension. I have tow hooks from 80s/90s S-10/S-10Blazer. The backing plate is tack welded to the square tube. The blacking plate has integrated threads. The tow hook itself has a hole that the bolt inserts through and screws into the backing plate.

If anyone who has a brush guard can post a couple pictures i'd appreicate it. I'm looking to see how the brush guard looks from directly in front and how it bolts from under the vehicle.

I'm wondering if I can get a brush guard and just drill holes into the tube and mount the brush guard. I'm not sure if my tow hooks are far enough forward to be out of the way.
