The TRUE history of Christmas dates back over 4000 years. Many of your Christmas traditions were celebrated centuries before the so-called son of God, the Christ child, was born.

The 12 days of Christmas, the bright fires, the yule log, the giving of gifts, carnivals(parades) with floats, carolers who sing while going from house to house, the holiday feasts, and the processions can all be traced back ..... WAY BACK ..... to the many Winter Solstice and Pagan Festival Celebrations held in mid-winter across Europe.

The Christian "Christmas" celebration was ... INVENTED ..... yes invented ..... to compete against the many Winter Solstice and Pagan celebrations... in order to "PUT DOWN" the people and take over their celebrations.

The 25th of December was sacred to the Romans and the Persians whose religion Mithraism was one of Christianity's main rivals at that time ... so guess what ... in the 4th century the church picked December 25th as the birth date of Jesus ... how coincidental ?!?!?!?!?!

THE EVIL EMPIRE ... "The Church" .. was eventually successful in taking the merriment, lights, and gifts from the Winter Solstice and Pagan festivals and bring them to the celebration of Christmas.

If the Church can't kill us ... they steal from us.

You sound like a brainwashed Jehova's Witness or something. I don't believe in any god and I hate religion, but I still celebrate it because its fun.

It’s got nothing to do with this thread. But case in point. The 1st Christians did not celebrate Dec.25th because they knew that it was not honor of Christ. It wasn't until the Church of Nicaea (with Constantine) declared this to be in Celebration of JESUS CHRIST; One reason why this happen was to have control of Christianity and make it a separate religion.

I LEARNED THE TRUTH ABOUT API

All vehicle manufacturers in the U.S. have agreed that a warranty cannot be denied because a customer was using any particular brand of oil that meets specifications, unless an engine failure was directly attributable to the fluid. If it is not a fluid related failure, they cannot void the warranty. The law supports this position.

Plus, the dealer/manufacturer has no way of telling what fluid you are using. How do I know? I am a former aircraft technician. I too was sceptical in the beginning. But now I am a believer.

Amsoil meets and exceeds API specs.
