Ive got an 03 Quad Cab 4.7 4x4 ...i thought maybe it was the shocks after 85K ...yea they were bad, so i replaced them too. But it's still makeing a rumbling / card in spoke sound when backing up with the wheel turned ...it only doe's this in reverse an wheel turn like so // i rearly hear it \\ and never || for going forward or in turns at all. I do have a slight shimmy/ pull when breaking that seems to be from that side too...i just changed the pads and put a new caliper and bracket on ...that help reduce it alot ..but still have minor signs ...thinking i have warped rotors after 85K...so any in put would be great ...btw i had to replace an axle seal on that side about 4 weeks ago ...it was making sound before then ...check it seemed ok but who know's the boots in great shape.
