You can lower ball joints only so far before they start scraping the ground.

bought a new set of upper and lower ball joints w/hardware on ebay for about $60 and installed them myself. Just grind off the old rivits, install new, and get an alignment. Then buy something you want with the $300+ you will save.

I guess ya all did better than me, if you got the stock ones out on the bottom with a press, I beat the SH@t out of a craftsman socket (Only junk socket I had to fit the size) and a pair of vise grips hooked to it with a dead blow to get em out. Trimmed the edges back on the top of the stock junk, and just beat the Sh@t outta em the whole way out. Replaced em with some MOOG's pressed in very easy.

Just depends what you used to beat the Sh@t out of them with!!

But then again I guess with Chrysler life time warranty, I should by a new Dakota and not even have to worry about those cursive ball joints.

Imagine, having to wait in line due to every one else that drove or towed there truck or car to the dealership, Well I hope they have some great snack bar for the waiting LOL!
