 Subject: 95 dak stalls

95 5.2 4x4 auto .itll die . restart couple seconds later . no check engine light . took it in they couldnt find anything . couple mths no problems then it does it again . this time only goes 10 ft or so dies again . does it cold . can power break it no problem , will idle forever , doesnt die in reverse , i tried redoing the factory solder ( 8 inches down from the fuse box , the 4 red/white wires ) no change ...any ideas to help narrow down my search

replaced pcv , cap rotor coil etc . idles smoother . but dies as soon as moves forward . backs up fine . idles fine . soon as i release brake dead ... no codes ???? if it was the fuel pump or computer would it throw a code ??? anybody please

hey buddy my 95 does the same thing been over everything in it can't figure it out. replaced Tps and checked all wires but now going to try 02senor and try a different batt because if not up to to charge my b the problem I will look in to c how u made out and let u know how 02 and batt works. I took it to dodge dealer and on there computer it said TPS but got a new one fron them and didn't change nothin also goin to try new temp sensor a few people said that also could b the problem. Good luck let me know if u figure anything else out also no codes on mine either.

oh ya a EGR valve will aslo do that I changed mine but not with a new one just from a old parts truck I have but it hasn't ran in years so it could be bad to but never helped

Just an idea, try pushing the button to turn the overdrive off before you put it in gear and try moving forward. Could maybe have something to do with the locking TC.
