I have a 03 quad cab. How many tie-down hooks are there in the bed? I saw another gen.II that had two in the floor of the bed near the cab. I have a bed liner that I already cuts holes into to get the two by the tailgate and the two on the inner wall by the cab. How bad do bed liners suck!!!???? Has anyone used linex or rhino liner? how much does it cost to do just the bed????

i bought my '00 used and it already had the line-x in it. personally, i wouldn't go any other way. it's guaranteed lifetime and any line-x dealer in the country will honor the warranty should you need it. mine's 7.5 yrs old and still looks new.

I had a Rhino liner sprayed in about 3 months after I bought my '99 Dakota (in March 1999) and love it. It cost about $350 + $50 for the bed rail tops...well worth it. I need to have it resprayed because of some gouging from shoveling out dirt, gravel, sand, etc. over the years but it should be covered by the warranty.

spray on bed liners are good for people who dont just throw stuff and drop heavy stuff in the bed but for me i haul motors and trannys and stuff does slid around and get dropped so it seems for me a heavy duty bed liner is my best bet to keep some of the major dents outta the bed but have had both and spray ons hold up good under normal wear and tear
