Gale Banks did. There is a lot of cutting and hacking to get it in there because it is so long.
Finally... a V8. '01 Dodge Dakota RC, 4.7, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. = R/T Killer.

I thought banks put a Durmax In that Dakota? He used the Dakota i thought for the small truck and the bigger engine bay.

Banks put the 5.9 cummins in a dak. The duromax went into a shortbed chevy pickup built for roadracing(and did very will at it.)Without major mods. to the dak chassie- the best cummins to use is the 4cyl(for weight and length) varient of the 5.9 6cyl diesel. Most of the hopup parts and tricks will work on little brother.

Banks might be retarded, but he makes hella money off of his products and his Sidewinder is the fastest in it's class. So he must be doing something right.

and almsot all of the banks stuff has a VERY poor hp/$ ratio
