1999 Dakota sport 4x4 cc v8. good condition, 90k miles runs and drives great. $6200. minor rust. I need an answer soon please.

I think $6200 is just alittle too steep for a 99 with minor rust and 90k miles, check out the black book value on it, when i entered it in, it said because of the miles and the rust it is considered below average and there for it was only listed for about $5,390. but it's up to you mang.

If it's on a used car lot, that would be the
reason for the higher price for it.

Also, locate the former owner of it (if a lot
unit). Ask questions like any tranny problems and
has the brake rotors ever been replaced and what
name brand were used. If factory rotors were
used, might as well put that on your list of
things to replace.

If sales person won't tell you the name of the
owner OR it was bought at a auction house,
DON'T BUY IT!!

I believe the 99's were still using the 318 and
360 V8's. GREAT engines! Under *normal* use either
engine has lots of life left.

i decided not to get it. ill use my 93 for another 6 months or so. when i do get another vehicle, i dont want to spend over 6 grand on something with rust on it.
