umm yeah i think you did it on a v6, cause i just checked on nada and with out my mods its max is 12,000 some so check it out. i also have a carpeted bed.

truck cap has no value unless you want it - most don't
bad points ---
no automatic
no extended cab
basic truck
mod truck - raced it to death, stay away
teenager truck
take it to carnmax and see what they offer you

actually it is an automatic, it is a basic and well maintained truck, its not raced due to a prior moving violation which was a illegal turn, and i'm not a teenager i take very good care of all my cars and trucks and my bike.

I just ran it through Edmunds out of curiosity...
Assuming it has tilt/cruise and using the zip code for Mt. Zion, IL (closest central IL zip I know off the top of my head...lol) it's worth $10,872 private party value. Trade-in is $9398.
So I'd say you're asking a pretty fair price...some folks may be willing to pay more for the mods, some may offer less. Gives you a lil haggling room for those who don't wanna pay more than book pricing.

go high --- you can always drop the price to sell it, you can't raise it
IMHO take any CASH offer over 10K - never finance anybody
carmax is good advice - doesn't cost anything and you don't have to sell to them, takes about 1/2 hour
I have done it with cars that were in crashes to get their value
