This I would like to see. I second GB2000 on the any pics question. I want to put a Paxton SC on my '04 and keep it all under the hood but no one can provide me with info on the mods needed.

dont own a digital camera. i got lucky the motor and trans is out of my dads 04 ram he totaled it according to the insurance compny so i told him b4 it was to go to the junk yard to let me pull out the drivetrain basically. the exhaust is right behind the cab with turn downs i took my dads exhaust off and had a local shop fit it to the truck. yes the motor is all stock. this is all thats done so far and traction is good for the most part because i bought some used hoosiers from a local used tire store.

Oh yeah. He said ROOTS style. So I am thinking that's like a Ford Lightning where it sits on top, but still all under the hood? Or are you talking something more old school.

We need pics!

thats what i was tihnking too. thats why i thought it was so badass.

about 4 years ago i test drove this r/t and to my surprise it had a roots style blower. fastest vehicle i have ever driven. back then i didnt know too much about cars so i couldnt tell you what eles it had done to it but it was prolly around 450 hp. and if it has a roots style blower pushin 10lbs of boost that means it has some forged internals right? too bad it had some blue smoke out the exhaust. and it pulled HARD to the left lol. 13900 was a little too much money at the time.

A roots style supercharger I would suspect would be pretty expensive. I could be wrong though.

Kenne-bell were the only ones that I could find really quick with a roots style blower. I do not think that they offer it anymore because it does not list a price for it. I am not too impressed with the horsepower gains, but that is again a stock motor. I personally think that the 4.7s that are about to be released will be bad-a$$. We deserve a 300 horsepower motor. Hell-yeah.

How do you plan to fit the interior from a wider truck into your '92 ?
Makes me wonder about the rest of your claims...

Maybe not a 5-speed, but an automatic will work.

I didn't ask what it's called; I asked how you plan to do it. We can fit larger engines by torching stuff out and modifying - I'm well aquainted with customization - but that still doesn't explain how you plan to fit the interior from a wider truck into yours. Going to cut a section out of the dash ? Cut the truck down the middle, and add a strip to widen ? LOL

Tape measure inside door panel-to-inside door panel on a GenII and a GenIII. It may be closer than you think. The inside cargo bed measurements 1987-2004 (excluding long bed) are identical. I use a 1993 Snugtop shell on my 2001 RC.
