 Subject: 99 Blower Motor Questions-Please Help

My blower motor only works sporadically. Sometimes it comes on while I'm driving, it also will cease after I shut off the engine and then when I restart the engine the blower motor will not run at all. When it does run, all speeds work.

Could it be the resistor? And where is it located on a 1999 Dakota?

Where is the blower motor and how do I change it out if it needs replacing?

You have a bad ground or possibly the main hot wire is lose at its connection.
