Doesn't sound like you have 3.55 gears or possibly your speedo is not correct.

There are two ways to determine your speed. One, you can use a gps, and the other, you can calculated it by reading your tach.

Sounds like you are street racing to me and if you have "stop signs" you are not even on a limited access highway.

yep. i raced a stock WRX today. it was an alright race. he beat me but i was surprised how well my truck kept up. so yeah i street race. you dont understand where i live ok. its out in the COUNTRY. yeah there may be a stop sign. but its out in the middle of no where. so chill out about the fast street riding. there are no tracks around here. and on top of that, where the hell eles are you suppose to check your top speed? the salt flats?

my speedo is correct cause my buddys s10 cruises right next to me on the highway at the same speed. i was thinkin the gears changed but a mechanic looked at the rearend and said it didnt look like the cover was ever taken off. he didnt look at the gears or anything he just said it didnt look like it. ill prolly pull the cover one of these days and check it out. im sure its due for a change.

ya know what. im ganna go check right now what i can get. i havent gotten into 4th for awhile. now that its fully broken in maybe it will make a difference. the motor has about 800 miles on it. had about 6 last time i topped it out at 115.
