When you talk about going 0-60 in 7 sec you give the impression that you romp on it alot. Even 8.3 seems like a respectible time for a Dakota.

This is why people dont come to this site anymore. They come here for help and have to deal with Jerks Like this. The 3 inch Gibson on my 4.7 didnt kill no Torque.Dont know much of the V 6.You might want to look into a Superchips or I heard the Jet Chips work alot better on 6 cylinders then they do 8 Greg.Hang in there dont let these Pricks get you down. There are better forums out there.

A superchips is not going to work on his truck. You would have to be stupid to put a 3" exhuast on a V6. It is called critism. Deal with it.

I'll bet those "better forums" won't allow him to call people "pricks" ! Personally, I agree with the advice given; but don't agree that GREG K isn't shouting just because his caps lock is stuck on. GREG K - posting in all caps is called "shouting", wether it's on purpose or not - and if you hit the "shift" key with the caps lock on, you can get lower case letters. Why didn't you answer what "SHOUTING" asked you; instead of denying you were shouting ? Too embarrassed that they figured what your problem was ?

Hi Kowalski how ya been? I was just repeating what Chuckles up there called him and yes your right they probably wouldn’t let you say it. I understand criticism but that don’t make a Forum good. I asked some advice here last week about my steering column and got six replies and only one was pertaining to the question I asked. It never used to be like that this forum has turned into a Playground. I think a jet chip would be his best bet for the 6 Banger. Thought you could use the superchip but I guess not. I know for sure he can use the jet for it.

Hey Greg, have you replaced the plugs cap and rotor yet, if not you might want to try that, for the cap try and get a brass contact cap and rotor and try autolite plugs, and try a good set of wires as well, also search this forum for ways others have done it, i know Larry from j&j auto has done wonders with those old dak's try asking him a few questions anway here's the link so you can do your own search http://mark.dodgedakotas.com/

josh - doing fine, thanks. Actually this site has been like that for many years - lots of great info along with a lot of nonsense. Not every question gets answered, but lots of knowledgable people try their best. I didn't even read your post, don't know anything too special about steering columns. Did the jet chip work well for you ? The v8 guys hate it, say the PCM relearns around it. Supposed to be useless after a while. I think Greg already got his answer from "SHOUTING" though; why else would he stop replying to good advice on his own thread ? He knows the answer to "SHOUTING's" question; the rest of us should be able to understand !

I remember you, I was wondering if you were that Josh. Been a few posting here. Good luck with the arbitration. They finally settled my grievance the day before the arbitration, been back to work a month and a half now. Illegal screwing with the chief union steward ended up costing them big time - 5 1/2 months back wages and benefits; and my immediate boss is already playing stupid games with me...
Game on !
