 Subject: Expensive Brake Job Today

Went to have all new rotors and pads put on my 2003 Quad Cab today and we ran into bit of a Problem.No one had them in stock had to order either the rotors or the pads depending on the store.Only place that had them all was a shop that just carried Weller Pads and rotors.They were very nice and the pads were very beefy but I gues the Pads shoulda been for 100 dollars for the front pads 83 for the rear.The guy just kept telling me you get what you pay for. (YEA RIGHT )
Well anyway the truck has a awsome brake system now for a Grand total of 485 Dollar Job At the shop.I woulda waited if I could truck was shaking bad when brakes were applied couldnt go another week back and forth to work like that.

I just paid $ 200 for front rotors and pads(actually got loaded calipers) raybestos pg plus. Must of spent another 40 or 50 on ancillary stuff. (fluid, cleaner, lubricant, socket for bolts,etc..) I installed it all myself. Sounds like you got a good deal. (depending on what quality parts they used.)
