Ok, my manual says to use ATF+2, when I last purchased tranny fluid, the only thing available was ATF+3. Well, I go to buy more fluid the other day and now Checker no longer stocks or carries +3, it's all +4 full synthetic. My question is, if I need fluid, can I add the +4 syn? Dodge said it would probably be ok to use the +3. Now there is the +4. Should I just add it, or have the tranny flushed and add the +4?

According to Dodge, ATF+4 is backwards compatable. Yes, you can use +4 in your older transmission.
