 Subject: Transfer Case

The question was asked "any maintence done other than oil change" and that got me to thinking, what should/needs to be done to the tranfer case other than oil changes and visual inspections.

Nothing. The t-case is just a set of gears and a chain. If you follow the recomended oil changes, it should outlast the rest of the drivetrain by a long shot. If/when it fails, just get it rebuilt.
