Did you even bother to read either post?
Both had information to aid your making an informed decision.
Why not ask someone you respect, like a mechanic, if what I said about ATF ratings is true.
What you did by asking about oil here, makes about as much sense as asking strangers on the street corner. Yet, in your hatred of "Amsoil Spammers and Flamers" you chose to ignore someone who has actually gone to school to learn something about answering the very question you asked.
As everything Amsoil advertises is verifiable by a simple GOOGLE search, your lack of interest is, to cite Mr. Spock; "Illogical."
If you buy Amsoil, or get it free, my income would be affected not in the slightest. Ever.
If you relented and bought Amsoil from Steve, there might be a perceptible movement in his cash flow, but be assured it would be slight. His profit comes from the volume of making a little from serving a lot of folks (an ugly Capitalistic concept) and very little from Wholesale to Retail profit margin (another of those ugly, evil Capitalistic concepts), unlike what you apparently believe happens when you buy from NAPA.
Meanwhile, It pleases me to answer posts like yours because there are, in fact, people who actually benefit from the conversations that take place here.

YAH.....and a truck isn't really practical for deliveries because of no shelter. You also see then with DIESELS!!!! For your info I DID ask the guy....He said you are nuts. (Local Fedex Guy and UPS guy that stops at my house to pick up eBay stuff). Shatto.....they drive VANS. VANS are far more practical than a truck and serve their purpose.

I don't recommending any oil to anybody. I simply stated what I do. My answer to CHRIS G was to read up on oils and do what he feels is correct for him. I'm not interested in this garbage bickering. Nobody wins ever. The government requires ALL OILS meet a certain standard and are compatable to mix. Every oil made far as I know excedes government requirements. There are differances in them and if you read independant lab tests, you will find some are better then others. This is the reason only each person can make a decission as to what they feel is the right way to go. I have my reasons for using what I use and I feel my choices are good ones. Just keep in mind, I do my oil changes differant then most in here and I'm sure there are those that think i'm nuts. there are a lot of high milage Dakotas in here. They use every oil from the cheapest to the highest prices. None are distroying there engines.
