Hey guys,
I have a 99 Dak 3.9 with auto. 92k miles.
The trany just one day started to take hard shifts. Mostly
between first and second and second ant third.
It does pretty much the opposite of when a tranny slips, kind of
acts like a weak shift kit was installed. It occurred when we had
avery cold day out and has kind of stayed ever since.
Everything that I can check without getting deep into it looks
good.
What are the possibilities for this reason?

if its cold out the fluid will thicken and in return give you a firm shift. my trans shifts firm in the cold weather also.
