Posted this in the V8 forums this afternoon, thought maybe this is a more appropriate place since the other thread is still blank.

Hello all, I have a 01 Motorsport R/C, 4.7 and Auto Trans with 24K miles on it. I parked it in August and let it sit untill now (Mid November.) I've only started it twice since then and it refuses to start now. I'm at a loss, seeing as this vehicle often sits for months at a time and starts up without hesitation when the key is turned.

When parked it was very low on gas and possibly running on fumes, but other than that everything was fine.

Since then, I've put in a few gallons of Premium.

I've replaced the battery as it wouldn't hold a charge and it was the original.

New spark plugs, as I was thinking maybe they got fouled out from cranking with bad/no gas.

I've also tested each of the coil packs, they all read 1.5k Ohms, but the Service manual says they should read between 6-9k. But, I have a hard time believing all 8 decided to fail at the same time, just from sitting.

The old plugs smelled of gas, and I'm not seeing any spark on the plugs.

Also, ordered new Cam and Crank sensors, but they haven't arrived yet.

Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Update...
Went to the Dealer to check out thier coils and they read the same resistances as I'm showing, the service manual I looked at was for the Full Size Pick-ups so maybe they have different coils. And, the Cam sensor came in today, I'll toss it in in the morning.

Again any suggestions would be helpful.

Check for stored codes - key on off on off on (not to start, just on) will set any malfunction codes on the odometer window, ending with "pdone".
