Hiya my girlfriend ran out of Gas in my dakota 2001 4.7L 4x4 automatic now it seems that I have a fuel/Injector problem the truck runs ok and its seems to idle fine too but when I step on the gas hard I can hear something that sounds ifferent very hard to describe sound almost/more like a vibration, mabye one injector is clogged now from running out of gas ? it sucked something up from bottom of tank I am not sure exactly ,can it have damaged the fuel system some how or engine ? So far I have tried stong bend of Fuel injector cleaner and hight test gas it seems better but still there any help on this would be great thanx ahead of time .

Possible air still in injector rail !
If has "bleeder valve" , or 'check pressure '
point - you may be able to bleed it out.
Looks similar to a tire valve , just shorter..

What should the pressure be at "John Deer" ?
and should I bleed it until all air comes out if there is any and until gas comes out ? And should I do this while the truck is running and do I check the pressure while the truck is running ?

Message:
Safer with just the ignition in RUN. That energizes the fuel pump and you can purge (or check pressure) at the fuel rail without the added concern of gas possibly dripping on hot engine parts.
Yes, get as much air out as you can.
