there is a 2007 R/T dakota!
but it has a 4.7 HO in it pushing nothin with 260hp
& 310 ft. lbs. of torque
but she weighs a woppin 4300 lbs!!

I wonder if they are not doing it because of the gas guzzler tax. I think that is like $2000. Also I bet insurance would be high if you are young or have a bad record.
300+ horses in a 4,300 lb truck can be a disaster in the hands of someone with little experience. Hell my truck has almost gotten away from me a couple of times on the bottle and ive been driving sports cars and trucks for over 10 years.

The Hemi doesn't fit in the 2005+ Dakota design. The Hemi is wider than a 5.9 and the new suspension narrowed the frame -- there's not enough room for the exhaust manifolds and converters.

Really, I thought the 360 would be wider than a 345 cid engine.
But it fits nicely under the hood of the Durango. But o well. I can always buy a 2002.
