Hi all. Well, my 10 year love affair with the Dak is over. I sold my 01 SLT CC last Friday and I went to my Dodge dealership and bought an 03 2500 Ram ith a 5.9 HO Cummins.
I have a DC factory service manual for 01 Dakotas that I'm putting on E-Bay if I don't sell it here. Just shoot me an e-mail telling me what you're willing to pay and understand that you'll pay shipping as well and the top bid gets it.
You can PayPal me the total. I also have TechTubes Bubba bars for sale. Those are chromed stainless nerf bars. I have a soft tonneau that's pretty well done but I'll throw it in free. It doesn't look bad until you get really close, then you can see the small cracks in the vinyl at the back corners.
Anyway, it's been fun lurking and watching the flame wars and such. You guys rock...it's been fun. Later.

Steve D, you don't have to leave just because you don't have a Dakota anymore. You stayed with Mopar, so you're always welcome here. :-)
Sounds like you got a nice truck. My brother-in-law just bought an '06 3500 QC 4x4 DRW HO Cummins and 6 speed stick. Dude, that is such a fantastic truck. It's a little more than what I want (2500 QC 4x2, HO Cummins, 6 speed), but way awesome!
I'm sure you're gonna love your current truck. Be sure to let us know how it's treating you.
