Subject: Timing cover coolant leak?
IP: Logged

Message:
For starters, is this even possible? I noticed today a small coolant leak dripping from under my truck so I had to do a little investigation. I popped the hood and grabbed a flashlight and I swear it looks like the coolant is bubbling out of the seal between the timing cover and the block? Is that even possible, or should the only thing that could leak from there be oil? I figured it would make much more sense if the coolant was leaking from around the water pump seal, but it really looked like it was coming from between the timing cover and block. Any advice?
