My buddy has a 2001 dakota sport. Its got a 4.7 in it. Inside the glove box it says 3.55 axle ratio and on the rear case it says 3.55 OPEN. But when he does a burnout it leaves 2 marks. The left one is usually a little bit lighter but its there. Whats up with that? Is it posi or open?

My 2000 has an open rear end and sometimes one or the other spins or on ocassion both to some extent.If it says open she's open unless it was mis-labeled.
