The group registration entry for either drag racing or the car show costs the same as what you would pay to just spectate, might as well at least park inside and enjoy the company plus get the free t-shirt. The drag racing is based on brackets, can go as slow or fast as you want.

And it's a 4X4 QC, so ppl would think "WTF???" LOL!
At Firebird I don't remember any INSIDE parking. Unless you meant some sort of tent area for the car show ppl...?

I've seen a 20-second 70's suburban come out and play at a couple of events, you may not be the slowest person there. With bracket racing it really doesn't matter anyways. There will be other stock R/T's or other stock models there racing, many of the people will be in the 14-15-16 second range.
Firebird always reserves a decent chunk of the pits for our club so we can all park together. This way you can drive into the facility and park with everyone, and hang out together. Parking will be outdoors, but usually a handful of people bring canopies that you can sit under if you bring a collapsable chair - beats parking in one of the remote lots and walking all the way in/out. If you sign up for drag racing you can also drive in/out of the facility whenever you want, if you do the car show you're forced to stay in one spot for the day.
