For the past year or so now I have been having on and off problems with my gauges in my 94 Dakota (V6 4x4) One of the strangest things that happens is when I use my signal...my tack jumps up and down....then stops exactly at the same time the signal stops.
There are other times when the guages are all pointing to H (oil pressure, fuel & battery gauges) I usually have to shut the truck off and restart it...most of the time it readjusts itself and all read normal (At least I think they do)
And sometimes my dash lights and all gauges do nothing....no lights no odometer no tack... BUT THE TRUCK STILL RUNS??????
Any suggestions on what can be causing this?

Hi,
When I had trouble with the gauges in my truck I replaced the panel
and it worked fine. Mine was a '94 too. Unfortunately I crashed the
truck, but I am in the process of tearing out the good parts. I'd be
happy to sell you my gauge panel for $20 if you want to give that a
try.

Thank you Justin....I am going to take my truck in and have a mechanic check it out.....it was happening all day yesterday....not only gauges this time...but generally running horribly. I will let you know. Thank you again, Cherie
