 Subject: Odor: from bed to cab. How?

My 98 Dakota has a shell with a closable window.
When I carry stinky stuff, the odor gets into the cab.
I can close the window and have the fan on maximum and the odor still comes into the cab.
How does it get from way back there all the way up here?

Check the seal on the shell. The area just behind the rear window is a kind of negative pressure zone when you're making speed. This can pull smell through the front of the shell where it meets the bed, and your air vents are between the cab and the bed, too.

There are vents on the back wall behind your seat/panels which are designed to balance air pressure in the cab. The stench is drifting in from there.

The air vents I was refering to are between cab and bed. Same ones SinCityR/T mentioned. Go take a peek and you'll find them about 2 feet in from each side and about a foot down from the bottom of the window.
