You know those things that wrap around the leaf springs? I think they are called spring clips or bend clips.
I have one missing, and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement part. Dealer said no.
Anyone know where to find them?
Are they really needed?

Thanks

They keep the leaves from moving side to side and eventually severing the center bolt, that holds everything together and keeps the axle from sliding along the spring and the wheel hitting the fender.
You should replace it.

You can find the clips at a spring shop. Although there probably is not many shops doing custom spring work anymore. Most stuff now days comes in a box already assembled. A very cheap replacemet can be made from a muffler clamp.

No spring shops in Raleigh NC.
You'd think that a capital city would have everything, but Raleigh sucks when it comes to finding or doing anything different.

I went back to the dealer, and this time they said they had some. But had to be ordered.
