okay i gotta choice on which dakota i want, i can keep my 2003 3.9L V6 or i can keep my 2001 4.7L v8. I just got the V8 but i am not too sure on performance parts on it. I know how to mod the v6 cause ive been learning about the enegine, so i was wondering in your guy's professional options which is a better engine for modification?!

I'd think the V8 would have a better power for dollar ratio. I don't know too much about that stuff though, so that's just an assumption.

You'll never mod a normally aspirated 3.9 to make as much power as a stock 4.7; so what is it you really like - power or modding ? I'd keep the 4.7...
