 Subject: EGR VALVE Meltdown

I have a 95 Dak V6, My EGR valve just took a trip to Meltville, I plan on putting a 5.2 V8 that is being rebuilt at the moment. An EGR Valve is 90 bucks from the dealership and I don't want to put anymore money into the V6 because I'll be switching it out in a couple of weeks, is there any way to bypass the EGR valve or plug it off without killing the truck?
