Does anyone have any experience with these tires? I am looking at either these or the BFG A/T TA. The Pirelli's are about $25 cheaper and I have heard good things, but I was wanting to hear from people who have actually tried them out. If it makes a difference I am looking at getting 32x11.50.

Thanks,
Jason

No experiece with thw A/Ts but if my experence with Scorpion Zeros and other Pirelli tires is any indication these should be excellent for what they are designed for. Pirelli has never let me down.

I have had the Pirelli A/T tires on now for about 5 months and I love them. They are a great on/off road tire and they are really quite on the highway. The only problem I am having now is that they don't seem to be the best tires in the snow but that could be because I just replaced my rear brakes and they are slightly out of adjuctment. I say go for it. They are realiable and for great off road traction!

I don't know but one tire to stay away from is Remington Rimfires, they look nice at first, have a great agressive tread, and handle great in rain anmud but the tire life is nowhere near the claimed 50,000 mines. I took great care of those tires but they just didn't last.

Whatever I get, I can tell you it isn't going to be Goodyear Wranglers. I have 3,800 miles on my truck now and they make it look like I do burnouts on dry pavement on all 4 tires every day of the week except Sundays.

I don't take turns hard, and I don't do brake stands. I have a 3.9 -- I think anyone else with a 3.9 and the LSD will agree that I don't peel out.

On my last truck, my BFG KO A/T's still looked new when I got rid of the truck after having them on there for 20,000 miles -- good tires.

I know there's been a lot of hype over Firestones lately -- and Firestone makes Bridgestone, but has anyone had any experience with Bridgestone Dueller A/T's. I see a lot of Dakotas with them on it and they look pretty nice mounted on the stock rims.

DeaPee -

I ran three sets of Bridgestone A/Ts on my 94 Dak and loved them. I do mostly highway driving and put on about 50K a year. The Bridgestones were great. I got 75K a set and they still had tread left. When I did go off roading the tires had good traction. So I will probably use them again when I need tires on my 2001.

ED are you referring to the Dueller A/Ts? I've heard good things to but wasn't sure. I've got Wilderness A/Ts now and have had very little trouble, I blew one out the first day they were on but it was replaced with no trouble. I had one lightly suspicious thing happen when I went in to have them rotated and some stick-on weights replaced that had some off they informed me that about 18 in. of the inside lugs had been cut off by some obstruction. That sucked, $67 out of an unemployed highschool student wasn't cool with me. But the tires are good in the snow and only seem poor to me in the rain but I'm the only one who has trouble. The only thing that caused those problems with ford was the idiots who own SUVs and think they're driving an tank, I have no sympathy for the drivers, just the people they hurt.

DeaPee, you almost made me piss my pants. The goodyears are crap. Mine look like crap also and I do burn outs all over the place. That should make the rear look bad but fronts look worse. I love the BFG A/T. I had them on my cherokee and they took a beatin and looked good doin it.

I love my Pirelli Scorpion Zeros! I moved up to
255/60/15s - drove through a DELUGE up to
local mountains for skiing, and blasted at
speed through the rivers running accross the
freeway with no hydroplaning. Sweet! Pending
good wear, I'll definitely get these again.
BTW, my wife has Pirelli P7000s on her '91
Saab 9000 Turbo - same excellent
performance - wet and dry.

Yes the factory tires I had were horrible, absolutly no tracton in the rain. I can't even remember what they were because I took them off soon after nearly killing my self a few times with them.

Go with BFG AT/KO, due to Tri-gaurd THREE ply sidewall. It you go off-road alot.
Scorpion AT has only a two ply sidewall. Most flat tires during off roading are from weak side walls. BFGs cost more, but worth the money.
How many awards have the Scorpions recieved?
just my 2-cents
