Hey everyone.
I just wanted to drop a line to say thanks to those that have helped me with questions about my Dakota in the time i had it. I hop i was able to be helpfull to other owners as well.
In a nutshell i traded in my 02 Dakota QC 4.7 a couple of weeks ago. I was a hard thing to do because i really liked the truck but it had over 100k hard towing miles on it and a strange intermitant overheating problem that wouldnt go away no matter what i threw at it. I didnt want to fight with that issue for another summer. Other then that it was a great truck and extremely FUN to drive. Im going to miss it.
I did look at getting antoher Dak but the new body style just dosent do it for me. I ended up going full size. I had my heart set on a Ram but ended up in a Chevy because i work for a gm supplier and got into a fully loaded lt3 with the vortec max motor for over 6k less then a comparable Ram. So thats pretty much sealed the deal.

I understand that money factor in the decision. 6K talks real loudly. Good luck, and I hope you find some Chevy folks that are helpful as we have been.
