Ever see a fellow Dakota on the streets and then see some DUMB mods (similar to a Riced out car) that makes you sad?

Like Fake hood scoops, Spoilers, fake duals on a V6, lowered with lifted truck ad ons, etc???

Here's the most recent from yesterday. The camera phone did a crappy job taking these through the window.

Well. Getting a drink I saw this was driven by some "south of the border" types. And when I say that, I mean the CULTURE here in Phoenix, not the race.

Features are R/T style rims. Really low profile tires. Like 2" of rubber from the rim!
V6 emblems busted off leaving the MAGNUM part.
Funky exhaust. And some stickers etc not visible here.

And my FAVORITE. Them foot bar - chrome runner things. For a lifted truck. But on THIS truck they are about 5 inches off of the street and had several dents in them where they bottomed out over speed bumps, etc.

Someone needs to take this Dakota away and restore it's dignity!

How do you keep your dakota from falling apart from laughing at the other vehicles?

I said it before and I'll say it again, you need to move!!

whats so bad putting R\T Rims on a non R\T DAkota? alot of people does it as they look better on the daks than the reg stock rims. I was even thinking about getting a set for my dak. if you dont like how someone does his vehicle. then dont look at it. its there and they can do what they want with it.

He was commenting on that they put R/T rims on with extremely low profile tires and how they have a massive wheel gap. They are fine to be put on any dakota as long as you make sure you fit the tires and suspension to them.

Put some normal size tires and rip thoose chrome steps off and it would be a nice truck. Also, remove the unseen decals, I hate decals unless they are under the hood.

Well, you know what they say about dogs looking like thier owners...............

I think this holds true for trucks also

Let me guess... this guy was really short, wearing some goofy clothes?

I am also guessing his dog barks alot and his truck was blairing some of that south o' the border polka music? both very annoying.....

Are you sure they werent just 4banger badges? Those badges are different looking than the old V*8/V6 Magnum badges.

As for the R/T wheels, I'll trade him for my stock 16's...if he can fit my 32's in those wheel wells. :)

LOL no offense man. I only pick on the culture. Most of us here are AMERICAN's no matter what mixture we came from.

I live in AZ and there are several parts with goofy sh*t and all store fronts in Spanish, etc making you think you drove too far south!

It's the gay car mods that crack me up. And it's one thing to see a Cavalier with a shopping cart spoiler and a TYPE-R sticker done up by an illiterate, but when it happens to Dodge Trucks... :(

I know I have posted this before. But it gets my drift to explain the madness.

That is a shop in the south Phoenix area.

That truck belongs to one of the employees or even the owner there. (I have repaired HVAC on a commercial business next door to it and see the truck).

THAT is an S-10 right??????

Then why the fack is there a RUMBLE BEE logo and paint job on it???????!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's one to piss off a Chevy die hard...

'The Heartbeat TOYOTA"

What an idiot!

And this is an all popular look of trucks too down here :p

Yeah. I used to take pictures a lot of this sh*t.

Now it's nothing new. I rarely bother to take a picture now. But those pix are archived on my web site for times like this :)

LOL! Thanks man. Like I said. It's not RACE. It's the culture and it just so happens to be a culture of a certain race that makes us laugh the most!

I think it's the "new to America" types that get confused and like to copy cat each other. You DEFINITELY don't confuse a truck like the one above, with just anyone! Know what I mean?

You will never see Billy Bob get out of that truck with a NASCAR hat/shirt/tatoo, etc.
