Hello,
Im getting really frustrated here please help if you can. My '01 V6 wont start.
- Has Fuel Pressure constant
- No Spark at Plugs
- Good Battery
- Voltage registering to Crank sensor but not to cam sensor
- No voltage at coil
- Has a aftermarket alarm that was de-activated 2 years ago could this be the prob. (shady work) If so any suggestions???
- P0340 code when i turn the key 3 times
- No code on code reader
- Have reset the PCM
- Changed pick up in Distributor = no luck
_ starts the oddd time but then dies after 5 - 30 min
- Please dont say fuel pump because there is fuel present. I am missing spark somewhere and this is getting really annoying now.

Sonds like it could be a bad PCM.... if your not getting a scanner connection at the test port then the CCD BUSS system sounds like its shot .... i had this happen to me a few years back ....the engine would just die and I would get a "CCD BUSS" flashing in the odometer box... got a new PCM from KRC and never had the problem since...... IF it is the PCM .... its covered under the 7 year emmissions

The PCM works ok it just dosnt flash any codes. What state is that in because im in Canada and I dont think I fall under that jurisdiction

Not to be rude ... but how do you know the PCM is working proper if you cant get it to show codes and the engine shuts down ?

That I dont know but it does show a code of p0340 when the key is turned 3 times. I just hope its not because I dont feel like dishin out that kind of coin
