this is dumb but when i put my turn signal it clicks and blinks like normal but when i press the brake it stops. can someone give me an idea what to do?

My guess is that your turn signal wiring and your brake wiring are catching quickies together somewhere. In other words, a short that needs to be tracked down. But there are alot of guys on this board with alot more experience here than I have, so you may get better advice.
