 Subject: No Fuel Pressure

I have a huge problem with my 1997 V6 3.9 dakota. I was driving down the steet, and all the sudden it just died without any warning. I checked the fuel pressure at the port, and theres none, so i took the fuel tank off and suspected fuel pump. I took off the wire harness to the pump, and checked to see if there was any volts into it, and found only the gauge sending wires had power, and the pump wires were dead. So some how i think the auto shut down relay is being kicked in and not allowing the fuel pump to kick in. Anyone ever have this problem, or can help me please??

That same thing happend to me as I was comming from work last night. My engine started to act like it was running out of gas. The power would drop off then in a split second come right back on. But today it's running fine.
