brake problems? My 00 4.7 auto QC Dacota has 40k on it and is just about ready for breaks,this is a two and a half ton vehicle peeps.The only problem ive had with this truck is a driverside door speaker went out,big deal.Ive been an avid GM man for the past 18 years and can honestly say my Dak is the best built vehicle ive ever owned,and ill be first in line at the dealer to purchase the new Dak with the 5.7 HEMI when they arrive late next year. As for the Toyota it all boyles down to personal preferance,ive driven in a tundra 4x4 and it rattled and squeeked more than my Dak and it was a year newer, so much for build quality.It is a nice lookin truck though.

One of the biggest diferences will be resale value. This is a strange comparison. Apples to oranges ? More like grapes to apples to watermelons. What do you really want, a mini, mid, or fullsize pickup truck ?
