 Subject: Cruise control problem

Hi all i went to the quarter car wash on saturday and cleaned my engine compartment and everything seemed fine till this morning when i tried to use my cruise control the light comes on when i turn on the key but it wont turn on wile im driving is there a fuse or reset i can do or any other common problems with this that i can try to do myself?

Check to see the vacumn line is still connected. Could have come off when you washed the engine.

Also if fuses are ok, give it a good chance to dry out. You may well have gotten water in something that's messing things up.

I found the problem....I have a jet chip on my truck and it dosn't have a seal to keep the water out and as soon as i took it out the cruise control started working again (i will be contacting jet about this as soon as i get a chance)
