hey ScojoDak,

I see you dont have a factory fan shroud. It also looks like you have a few wires going to the back side of rad. I assume you have am electric fan. I also see a thermo couple on the upper rad hose. Im getting ready to install a black magic. Just wondering how yours is installed such as mounting and wiring and such.

If your using the thermo couple to trigger the fan thats awesome. How did you wire it in?

mattleg, with reard to the wiring and thermocouple, you're correct on your observations. The install of the BM 150 is pretty cut and dry. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being most difficult, I give it a 5 for the average backyard mechanic. However, I must tell you that the BM 150 could not hold up to the summer heat here in the cali deserts. I have since upgraded to a "be-cool" radiator with twin "spal" electric fans. I now can tow a frieght train up a grade and not go over 210 degrees *lol*. You get the idea. If I may suggest, do a lot of research on the various dakota boards for opinions. Good luck!

Jono, I believe it's a 69 charger r/t. I wont argue with you about the coronet body lines. IMO, I think that coronet is one of the more underrated mopars of the past.

Yea scojo I have alot of camaros and mustangs pull up to me and start revving their little small blocks. And when they hear my 440 rev the little smirk on their face just dissapears, I love it. But yea alot of people dont recognize what a coronet is until you say, well its similar to the charger, and then it kinda clicks for em.lol. But anyways great truck there man.

Hey ScojoDak- Just curious....I was seeing a truck very similar to yours down the street from my house for a while. Were you in Southern Oregon recently? Your truck looks awesome, and I could almost swear it was the one I was seeing. Maybe someone else has a similar truck around here.

ID love to post pics but I have no clue how. I'd search for instructions myself but I guess they won't even let you use the search function anymore unless you're willing to pony up some cash and become a member.
