Hi Dan,I saw one of your earlier posts from back in Nov. 2000 about a vibration problem you were having. I have the exact same symptoms that you had. So did you ever find the cause of the vibration? So far I have tried new rotors and drums, tire rotation and balancing, a new set of wheels and tires from a new Dak with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

Haven't found a fix for the vibration yet. The dealer keeps insisting that it's tires, but I just don't buy that answer. I've now had 4 different sets on the truck, all balanced multiple times and the vibration is still there. I've had the brakes checked by an independent shop that let me watch them as they checked...the front rotors were straight and the rear drums were a little warped, so they machined the rears. No change. The dealer insists that the driveline is absolutely dead on spec (pinion angles, driveshaft balance, etc). I'm going to try another dealer at the next service to see if they find anything different. If nothing else, when the vibration causes a major driveline failure (its just a matter of time as far as I'm concerned), I have a documented history and a warranty out to 75,000 miles. I will not own this particular truck one foot beyond my warranty mileage limit.
