it is questionable whether or not one can be put in because there is a beam that runs across the roof that supports the truck

I had a sunroof put in my '03 quadcab when it was new. I love it and it's the best mod I have made so far. It's an Infala TS moonroof model #33. They have an X brace that extends from each corner so it is anchored in four places versus the one brace going across that must be cut. It works perfectly and can be fully open, partially open or popped up in the back. It has a built in air spoiler that rises up slightly when open and features an auto close option that can be defeated if desired.
Mine was installed in Austin, Tx at Texas Auto Tops for around $1300. Find out who does the installations for the new car dealers in your area. This will be the guy you'll want to use.
The button was put in my overhead console and it all looks totally factory.

You can get it as a factory option in the 06 model year.

Thanks I'm going to look at different brands of roofs. Thats but 02 is paid off.
