its almost done
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
and added a few goodies to it
these run through the Y pipe to a cutout to a glass pack, and the other part of the cutout goes to the cat and cat back system i put on it a few years back
i cant WAIT
jsut need the T-Case and hook up the exhaust, fuel lines, fill all the fluids, put in the driveshafts and it will be drivable
then there is some speaker wiring, the skid plates, rig up some vaccum hoses for the CAD and it should be golden
who says there is room in a GenI for a V8
see, there is TONS of room up front for them, TONS i say, see
i REALLY cant wait

Remember that there was a shelby gen1 dakota with a v8. They removed the radiator fan and used blowers for it to fit.

yeah i know, i could buy one if i want, there is a mechanic i know that offered his to me, i was going to go look at it jsut to get an idea for my project, but meh
i knew it would fit, i just didnt know how much room i would have to spare, n this case, by the time i got the fan in place between the radiator and condensor there is very little room, i mounted a 1300 cfm fan between them, moved the radiator back and the condensor forward jsut a bit, but it all went together

jsut had it started up today, im excited
the T-case will be done by fri, hopefully the final pieces will be put together this weekend, then next weekend im going to take it out to play with it

ive gotten stuck once in a ditch with some nasty sticky snow
other than that i usualy use cuastion and have not gotten sweriously stuck wher ei cant dig myself out easily
intense should have done that to a 4x4 as well

its still not ready to go yet :(
i jsut dropped on the driveshaft to be shortened up and have a different U-joint put on the back to mount up to the yoke on the rear end
SO, thats the only thing keeping it from being driven
i hhowever have the exhaust to hook up, some small internal wiring, the steering wheel covers to put back on, the 4x4 vaccum lines to hook up and a switch for them
i am really hoping friday it will be driveable
i REALLY hope
