I lost my fob and want to find another on ebay, but want to get the right one. I'm willing to go to the dealer to pay $25 to get it programmed, just not the $45 they want for one, and another $25 to prog. it. Got an '01 built in june if it helps.

My '01 Durango and '02 Dakota use the same fob. I'm sure you're '01 Dakota would use the same one. Make sure the one you but has the same numbers as what I have shown below.
If you still have a fob (sounds like you only had one and lost it) you can program the replacement(s) yourself. Save the $$$. The procedure is in your owner's manual. If you don't have it, I or somebody else can supply the simple procedure.
However, if you don't have any fobs the dealer will have to do the deed. Ka-Ching!
