My truck is no longer starting on the first crank. I let it crank for about 5 seconds then stop. It then starts right up like it used too on the second crank?? Any idea's??

Damn, I was afraid of that. I changed plugs today and went to run a test on the fuel system and notice the "nipple" on the fuel rail was wet. I tightened it up so we'll see if that was where i was losing the pressure. What is the best way to find out if it is the pump and not like a leaky injector??

YOu were right. I cycled the key on and off about 4 times (to build fuel pressure) and it starts right up. Cheapest i can find the pump for is 375(that's Canadian). Not too bad considering the retail at NAPA is over 500. It's good to have freinds!!
