 Subject: Airaid intakes

Airaid is the only brand that I can find who makes an intake specificlly for my truck 99 cc 3.9 4x2. Have any of you guys put this brand on your truck, if so what were the results. The price from my local advance auto is like $180. Is that a good price for it?

I've got one and I'm happy with it but I feel it lacks a few things. There is no heat shield and you use the old airhat and flexible hose. I'm going to work on making a heat shield/air collection box along with a new an airhat and intake hose. Don't know what performance improvements it will give if any, but I want something original. It'll have to be a project for next year since I don't have any spare time until then. I'll try to work on parts of the design in any free time I have.
